About Mark Cavins Design

I have been designing sites since 1999. I am based out of Puyallup, Washington but can work on a site anywhere in the states of Washington, Oregon, California or Idaho.

What kind of sites do you design?

I have been designing content, data driven, and eCommerce sites for the past 6 1/2 years. I have worked with companies in the entertainment, food and beverage, banking and financial industries as well as religious and specialty groups.

My primary programming and scripting languages are HTML/XHTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. I am comfortable using programs such as PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash, and Acrobat. I also have some experience with XML, AJAX, JAVA, VB, Dreamweaver, FrontPage, Premiere, Encore, and C#.

What are the costs of designing a site?

Depending on the complexity of the site, the following is a list of prices for certain sites.

4-6 page content driven site $500

Static page HTML/XHTML with custom CSS and design.
Up to 10 custom created images for placement on pages (note: If you have your own images for placement these images will be included at no charge).
Basic email form to receive information from the web.

6-12 page content/data driven site $1100

Static and database driven page content using HTML/XHTML, PHP, and JavaScript with custom CSS and design.
Up to 35 custom images placed into pages.
Basic payment system setup with Echo pay for accepting credit cards and eChecks from customers.
Multiple email/data forms customized for your needs.
CMS to manage database info.
